Joshua J. Daegele

Joshua J. Daegele, 48, of Washington, passed away on March 16, 2023. Josh , son of Dennis Daegele, and Claudette née Anderson was born on November 15, 1974 in Washington. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School.

Josh loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking and was a master carpenter. In his free  time, he liked playing the drums and listening to rock and roll.

Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margaret and Claude Anderson; paternal grandparents, Ruth and Harry (Hap) Daegele, Aunt Connie Anderson and Uncle Paul Holtmeyer.

Josh is survived by his ex wife, Colene Dierkes and their two sons; Chase and Cole Daegele; his parents Claudette and Dennis Daegele ; his brother, Dustin Daegele and wife Sha’Rona and their two children, Colton and Camara Daegele ; Aunt Carleen Holtmeyer and cousins Nathasha Holtmeyer, Nicole Drake, and Kara Scheele; as well as other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
