John G. Thomure

John G. Thomure, 45, of Washington, passed away on April 24, 2023. John, son of the late Randall Thomure and Lynne nee Palisch, was born on February 28, 1978, in Washington. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School.

John was extremely social and had many friends.  He always wanted to visit with everyone, whether he knew them or not.  He especially loved going to the movies, coffee, any kind of food except beets, and girls.

He was preceded in death by his father, Randall Thomure and grandparents.

Among his survivors are his mother, Lynne Unnerstall and husband Tim of Washington; brother, Matthew Thomure of Washington and half-brother Ryan Thomure of Illinois; stepmother, Michelle Thomure of Chicago, IL; three nieces, one nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home with the rosary being said at 3:30. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at St. Francis Borgia Church. Interment will be private.
