John J. Miller

John J. Miller, 57, Washington, passed Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus.

John, son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Francis and Jacqueline Post- Miller, was born November 2, 1964 in Washington, He was preceded in death by both his parents.

John was an avid outdoors man including both hunting and fishing. His passion was Turkey hunting and mentoring other friends of Bill W. John’s favorite past time was watching Cardinals baseball. GO CARDS!

John never had a loss for words to share a story and smile, especially around a campfire with his many friends.

John is survived by his beloved canine companion Missy, two daughters, Amy Barnes (Donovan), and Grace Coppedge (Theodore), and two grandchildren. He is also survived by his five siblings, Judith Post, Francis Miller, Michelle Scheipeter (Matt), Robert Miller (Jill) and Dr. Jacqueline Miller (Tim Huber);

Visitation will be held at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, Washington, Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 from 9-11 a.m. A Mass will follow at noon at St. Francis Borgia Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to National Wild Turkey Federation.
