John M. Linde Sr.

John M. Linde Sr., 79, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Washington, passed away on July 21, 2024. Mr. Linde, son of the late Earl Linde and Hilda nee King, was born on May 18, 1945, in England. He received his education from Linn Technical College. On March 2, 1985, he was united in marriage to Judy Jean in Washington.

Mr. Linde loved being with family, and his beloved dog Webster. He enjoyed watching IRL Racing, traveling, riding around in his golf cart, watching western movies, and enjoying the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, John M. Linde Jr. and sister, Ferne Robinson.

Among his survivors are his wife, Judy Linde of Port Charlotte, FL; children, Jennifer Volkerding and husband Cale of Washington, Angela Breeden of Union, Katrina Pelster and husband Jim of New Haven, Denise Jean of Washington, and Selena Floyd of Union; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, loved ones and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Union, with interment in the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Tidewell Hospice Care, Franklin County Humane Society, or the Immaculate Conception Church.
