Jodi Voelkerding-Brown, 52, left the world too soon, on Friday December 5, 2025.
Jodi was born December 22, 1972, in Washington, MO to Clyde Voelkerding Sr. and Catherine (Garcia) Voelkerding. Jodi loved her children, Marion J Brown Jr. And Maurian T Brown. She adored and devoted herself to her grandson Kobe T. Brown. She loved music & singing. Over the years she also acquired a vast collection of Mickey Mouse memorabilia.
In 1991, Jodi graduated from Borgia High School where she shared her enthusiasm through her participation in cheerleading, soccer, and band.
Jodi is survived by her parents Clyde Voelkerding and Catherine (Garcia) Voelkerding; her former husband and close friend Marion J. Brown, her children Marion J. Brown Jr., and Maurian T. Brown, her grandson Kobe T. Brown, her siblings, Debi Vedder and husband Todd, Richard Olson and wife Bobbi, Clyde Voelkerding Jr. and wife Rebecca, Kim Moorman, Diane Hoss, Crystal Hamann, Dustin Voelkerding, Brandon Voelkerding, supportive friend Robert Powers, and many more family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Todd Hoss, brother Gregory Voelkerding, and brother and best friend Jason Voelkerding.
Jodi will be especially remembered by her infectious laugh and loving maternal spirit.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 4-5:30 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a Memorial Service beginning at 5:30 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the family of Jodi Brown.
