Jeanette E. Westhoff

Jeanette E. Westhoff, 88 , of Dutzow, passed away on October 17, 2021. Mrs. Westhoff, daughter of the late Edward Ruether and his wife Irma nee Willenbrink, was born on February 11, 1933 in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School. On February 14, 1953, she was united in marriage to Victor Westhoff at the St Vincent’s Church in Dutzow.

Mrs. Westhoff was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Westhoff; three children, Gwen Dooley, Renee Becker, Gregg Westhoff and grandson, Jesse Becker.

Among her survivors are five children, Richard Westhoff and fiance Karla Eckelkamp of Dutzow, Cynthia Rhoades of Olathe, KS, Dale Westhoff of Washington, Kay Alleman and husband Robert of Washington, and Bryan Westhoff and wife Debbie of Beaufort; brother, Dennis Ruether and wife Joanne of Dutzow; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Victoria “Tookie” Westhoff; son-in-law, Dean Becker; daughter-in-law, Anne Lause and husband Jared; other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 8:30-9:30 A.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 A.M. at St. Vincent’s Church in Dutzow. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Dutzow Community Club or Masses.
