Jane “Lois” Lohan (nee Mueller), 92, of Washington, passed away on January 2, 2020. Mrs. Lohan, daughter of the late Arthur Mueller and his wife Aurelia NEE Schultz, was born August 14, 1927, in Washington. She received her education from Washington High School. On June 20, 1948, she was united in marriage to Jack Lohan at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Washington.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Lohan; brother Howard Mueller and sister, Ruth Welcher.
Among her survivors are one son, Mark Lohan and wife Beth of Washington; sister, Cheryl Gill and husband Rob of South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Josh, Katie, Alex, Melaney, Renee, Jeremy, and Aly; sister-in-law, Lois Mueller of Washington; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020, from 12-2 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 2 P.M. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Washington. Officiating the service was Rev. Paul Scheperle. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to the All Abilities Athletics of Franklin County or the Life Stream Church in Washington. A luncheon will be held at the Life Stream Church, immediately following the service at the cemetery.
