Jan Frick Obituary

Jan David Frick , 84 , of Washington, passed away on April 17, 2021.

Jan, son of the late Malvin Frick and his wife Nelma nee Baccus, was born on July 18, 1936 in Washington. He received his education from Washington High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia. On August 11, 1957, he was united in marriage to Carol Lohmeyer in Washington. Jan was the founder of Frick's Quality Meats in Washington.  In his leisure time he enjoyed boating, flying a small plane, riding a motorcycle and conversations with friends and family. 

He was a member of the Hope Lodge 251 in Washington, the Washington Jaycees, and WINGS.

Mr. Frick was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, William Frick.

Among his survivors are his wife Carol Frick of Washington; three children, Dave Frick and wife Cindy of Washington, Lisa Frick and husband Scott Hughes of Marthasville, and Julie Neustadt and husband Jon of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren, Sara Mades and husband John, Sheila DeLong and husband Bill, Ellory Frick and husband Kyle Brunkhorst, Laura Neustadt, and Adam Neustadt; seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 12-4 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a Masonic Funeral Service beginning at 4 P.M. Interment will be in the Wildey I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Washington. Memorial donations can be made to the Hope Lodge 251 in Washington or the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
