Henry L. Newberry

Henry L. Newberry, 77 , of Washington, passed away on January 2, 2023. Henry, son of the late Lloyd Newberry and Clyde Elizabeth Neely, was born on May 21, 1945 in Fowler, CA. On May 21, 1976, he was united in marriage to Anna Darlene Cox at the Liverpool Baptist Church in Lake Station, IN.

Mr. Newberry served his country honorably as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings, William Newberry, Steve Newberry, Jerry Newberry, Roy Newberry, Carl Newberry, and Margaret Newberry.

Among his survivors are his wife Anna Darlene Newberry of Washington; children, Joy Spencer and husband Robert of Demotte, IN, Bryan Newberry and wife Angie of Chandler, AZ, Darcie Rogala and husband Marcus of Washington, and Darren Newberry and wife Tiffany of Waukee, Iowa; three siblings, Lilla Hill, Fred Newberry, and Janie Mullins; grandchildren, Anthony, Steven, Jon, Joey, Marcus Jr., Nate, Michael, Kaitlyn, Breanna, Keith, and Lyla; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, with full military honors.
