Helen Niemann Obituary

Helen M. Niemann, 91, of Washington, passed away on June 15, 2023. Mrs. Niemann, daughter of the late Oscar Roland Womack and Grace nee Hollie, was born on June 26, 1931, in St. Louis. She received her education from Mehlville High School in St. Louis. On June 16, 1951, she was united in marriage to Allen Niemann Sr.

Helen was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and never missed watching a game. She also enjoyed the St. Louis Blues, playing bingo, putting puzzles together, going fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen Niemann Sr.; stepfather, Stewart Larson and two siblings, Betty Jean Womack and Ben Womack.

Among her survivors are two children, Allen Niemann Jr. and wife Carol of Troy, MO and Suellen LaBeaume and husband Richard of Washington; sister, Mary Sexton of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Brian LaBeaume, Kathryn LaBeaume, Christine Cortadillo and husband Eddie, Kevin LaBeaume and wife Lynn, Cynthia Ferrill and husband Corey, and Gregory Niemann; great-grandchildren, Adonis, Adina, Addison, Lillian, Benjamin, Elliana, Avery, Sophia, Jacob, Gabriel, and Charlotte; brother and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Niemann and wife Brenda and Josephine Niemann; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Veterans Administration or the American Heart Association.
