Glennon Kopp Obituary

Glennon D. Kopp, 82 , of Washington, passed away on January 23, 2021. Mr. Kopp, son of the late Edward Kopp and his wife Genevieve NEE Sandbothe, was born October 27, 1938 in Washington. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School. He was united in marriage to Patricia Walde. After her passing, he married Theresa Eckerle. Glen was employed at Jefferson Products until retirement and he was also a lifelong farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Walde; siblings, Arnold Kandlbinder and Eugene Kopp; In-laws, Mary Jane Kopp and Frank Kluesner, and granddaughter, Ami Briggs.

Among his survivors are his wife, Theresa Eckerle Kopp of Washington; seven children, Susan Eckerle, Hermann Eckerle, Kevin Walde and wife Debbie, Christie Briggs and husband James, Sharon Leach and husband Dave, Dan Walde and wife MaryAnn, and Kathleen Haddox and husband Chris; siblings, Paul Kopp, Dorothy Kluesner, and Roland Kopp and wife Mary Frances; sixteen grandchildren, Kate Bauer, Ryan Walde, Jane Klein, Kassy Briggs, Billy Briggs, Eric Briggs, Allison Ulrich, Bridget Leach, Carrie Leach, Charles Walde, Grace Walde, Henry Walde, Jack Haddox, Olivia Haddox, and Sam Haddox; ten great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ollie Kandlbinder; other relatives and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10 A.M. at St. Francis Borgia Church, with interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Francis Borgia Church or the St. Francis Borgia Regional High School Athletic Association.
