Gerard F. Mohesky

Gerard F. Mohesky,71, of Washington, passed away on May 27, 2025. Gerard, son of the late Norvin K. Mohesky and Alvina nee Gildehaus, was born on December 18, 1953, in Salem, IL. He received his education from Pacific High School. Gerard was married to the late Ann Freie Mohesky. He served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Mohesky; siblings, Roland Mohesky and wife Shirley, Harvey Mohesky and wife Theresa, Roger Mohesky, Harold Mohesky, and sister-in-law, Ann Mohesky.

Among his survivors are his siblings, Laura Wooster of Rolla, MO, Leland Mohesky and wife Carol of Washington, Vernon Mohesky of Breese, IL, Wayne Mohesky and wife Norma of Eureka, Norvin Mohesky and wife Verna of Berger, Darrell Mohesky of Caulfield, MO, and Gilbert Mohesky and wife Aileen of Washington; nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Parish rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Memorial Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment with full military honors will be held at the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
