Georgia Mae Brinkmann, 83 , of Washington, passed away on December 8, 2022. Georgia, daughter of the late Mathias Brinkmann and Martha nee Brinker, was born on March 8, 1939 in Labadie. She received her education from St. John’s Gildehaus School.
Ms. Brinkmann loved fishing, family gatherings, a good party, horseshoes, and pinochle. But most of all, she loved her beloved dog, “Lucky”.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Robert Brinkmann, Kenneth Brinkmann, Patricia Martin; In-laws, Virginia Brinkmann, Russell Martin, and one niece, Debbie Psalmonds.
Among her survivors are her brother, Michael Brinkmann and wife Jeanette of Labadie; sister-in-law, Shirley Brinkmann of Labadie; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Brinkmann, Tina Brinkmann, Becky Duvall, Peggy Brinkmann, Jeremy Brinkmann, John Martin, Brenda Pence, Cindy Edgar, Steve Martin, Jody Wadlow, Marie Martin, Christopher Brinkmann, and David Brinkmann; special friend, Chris Derner; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at St. Francis Borgia Church. Interment will be in the St. John’s Gildehaus Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the family of Georgia Brinkmann.
