Gail A. Fox

Gail A. Fox, 70, of Washington, passed away on April 11, 2023. Gail, daughter of the late Harlan Wells and Janet nee Price, was born on April 13, 1952 in St. Louis. On July 9, 1977, she was united in marriage to William Fox at the Old Cathedral in St. Louis.

Gail worked at Altemueller Jewelry for 25 years. She loved the relationships she made there with coworkers and customers. She also enjoyed other creative outlets like sewing, crafting, decorating and entertaining. Gail's favorite activity was travel. Whether it was at the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri or Honolulu, Hawaii she took time to enjoy the grand view.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William Fox.

Among her survivors are two children, Matthew Fox of Washington and Megan Fox and husband Alan Helland of Ashland, MO; two siblings, Richard Wells and wife Lisa and Donna Novy; three grandchildren, Baker Fox, Indigo Helland, and Grae Helland; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of choice.
