Frances A. Boland

Frances A. Boland, 78 , of Washington, passed away on March 7, 2023. Mrs. Boland, daughter of the late William Gibbs and Anita nee Scott, was born on May 2, 1944 in Sydney, Australia. On March 20, 1987, she was united in marriage to Thomas Boland in Union, MO.

Fran loved to read, go shopping, watch movies, and travel. But most of all, she enjoyed being with family. Fran worked as a nurse for many years and retired from Clayton Concepts as a substance abuse counselor.

Mrs. Boland was preceded in death by her parents and son, John Linde, Jr.

Among her survivors are her husband, Thomas Boland of Washington; children, Jennifer Volkerding and husband Cale of Washington and Kim Jasper of New Haven; step daughters, Beth Dellasanta and husband Bret of Columbus, OH and Pattie Welch and husband Russ of Denver, CO; siblings, Sandra Johnson, Bill Gibbs, and Don Gibbs of California; grandchildren, Adam Hawkinson and girlfriend Josie Buhr, Kaley Dotson and husband Kirk,  Jenna Jasper and fiancé Austin Huddleston, Brittani McDuffie, Andrew Dellasanta and fiancé Lauren, Thomas Dellasanta, Michael Dellasanta, Cody Welch, and Peyton Welch; other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on April 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Church. Memorial donations can be made to Shriners Hospital in St. Louis, Franklin County Humane Society, or the Alzheimers Association.
