Floyd Brinkmann Obituary

Floyd G. Brinkmann, 93, of Washington, passed away on June 4, 2025. Mr. Brinkmann, son of the late Bernard Brinkmann and Madeline nee Kopp, was born on November 23, 1931, in Paragould, AR. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School. On August 25, 1956, he was united in marriage to Lea Mae Voss at St. Francis Borgia Church. Floyd served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army.

Mr. Brinkmann found joy in the simpler pleasures of life. He loved farming and going fishing, often spending quiet time by the water. His leisure hours were filled with watching old westerns on television and listening to country and western music, which brought him a sense of nostalgia and peace. Also in his spare time, Floyd enjoyed woodworking. Perhaps his greatest delight was attending his grandchildren's sports games, cheering them on with pride.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mary Lee Kimminau, Eunice Siedhoff, Jerry Brinkmann, Bernadine Garbs, Joseph Brinkmann, and in-laws, Herb Kimminau, Gilbert Siedhoff, and Theon Garbs.
