Eric M. Locher, 42, of Washington, passed away on July 14, 2025. Eric, son of Elmer “Moe” Locher and Barbara nee LaBoube, was born on April 12, 1983, in Washington. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School and Ranken Technical College. On January 12, 2013, he was united in marriage to Brittany Maniaci at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. He was employed by ELS Properties.
Eric was an avid Mizzou football and basketball fan who rarely missed a game, cheering on his teams with unwavering loyalty. He also had a deep love for the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement of playing fantasy football. His passion for sports extended to his community, where he dedicated time to coaching football in the WJFL. Above all, Eric’s greatest joy in life was his three children, Brooks, Reese, and Beau, who brought happiness to him every day.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother, Christopher Locher, and uncle, Brian Schriewer.
Among his survivors are his wife, Brittany Locher of Washington; three children, Brooks, Reese, and Beau Locher; parents, Moe and Barb Locher of Washington; brother, Mark Locher and wife Karrie of Wildwood; mother and father-in-law, Beth and Mike Maniaci of Washington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dustin Maniaci of Washington, Demi Maniaci and significant other Sam Hope of Richmond Heights, and Shari Locher of Stony Hill; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 1-6 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment will be in the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Eric Locher Memorial Fund C/O Bank of Washington.
**The family has requested that anyone attending the visitation, be dressed in St. Louis Cardinals or Mizzou Tigers attire.
