Douglas G. Charles

Douglas G. Charles,54, of Union, passed away on November 12, 2025. Doug, son of William Charles and Judith nee Martin, was born on May 21, 1971, in St. Louis. He received his education from Parkway Central High School.

Doug was passionate about playing and coaching soccer. He also took great pleasure in making wine, and spending time outdoors, particularly gardening. His enthusiasm for these pursuits was a testament to his vibrant spirit and his dedication to fostering memorable experiences with his family and friends.

Among his survivors are his parents, Bill and Judy Charles of Washington; two sons, Alexander and Liam Charles of Washington; siblings, Mike Charles and wife Roberta of Flower Mound, TX, John Charles and wife Barbara of Webster Groves, MO, Dawn McCary and husband Joe of Lake Sherwood, MO, and Paul Charles and wife Stacy of Rome, WI; loves ones and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Douglas Charles family, checks payable to Alexander and Liam Charles.
