Doris K. Fleer, 95, of Washington, passed away on August 16, 2024. Mrs Fleer, daughter of the late August Becker and Ella nee Schwenker, was born on October 23, 1928, in Washington. She received her education from Immanuel Lutheran Grade School. On October 23, 1948, she was united in marriage to Eldon "Bud" Fleer at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington.
Mrs. Fleer loved working and teaching at her ceramic shop and making many new friends. She enjoyed going fishing, camping, and attending little league games. Most of all, Doris cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud Fleer; siblings, Wilbert Becker, Norma Nolting, Kenneth Becker, Rosella Pearson, Leola Vaughan, Jane Peacock, and one great-great-grandson, Eldon Joe Fleming.
Among her survivors are four children, Richard Fleer and wife Karen of Kentucky, Terry Fleer and wife Fatima of Hermitage, MO, David Fleer and wife Susie of Belgrade, MO, and Charlotte Dunn of Washington; brother, Leonard Becker and wife Lana of Troy, MO: grandchildren, Rosanna Brown and husband Greg, Elizabeth Feldmann, Diane Hill and husband Bret, Craig Fleer and wife Serina, Scott Fleer, Justin Fleer and wife Michelle, Alicia Jones and husband Larry, Brandy Fleer, Aldwin Fleer and wife Lauren, Nathan Fleer and wife Angie, Chad Fleer and wife Angie, Adam Dunn, and Matthew Dunn; seventeen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack Fleer and wife Martha, Laverne Fleer, Donna Fleer, Gene Unnerstall, Mary Ann Rode and Bert Becker; loves ones and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 9:30 am-11:30 am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington, with the funeral service beginning at 11:30 am. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or School.
