Donald W. Steibel

Donald W. Steibel, 77 , of Washington, passed away on October 23, 2021. Mr. Steibel, son of the late Raymond Steibel and his wife Alice nee Brockmann, was born on June 23, 1944 in Beaufort. He received his education from Washington High School. On May 22, 1965, he was united in marriage to Connie Graves at the St. Peter’s Church in Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie Steibel and mother and father-in-law, Doris and Magnus Graves.

Among his survivors are three daughters, Debra Lamke and husband Charles of New Haven, Denise Balken and husband Todd of New Haven, and Dawn Brunkhorst and husband Jeff of Leslie; brother, Larry Steibel and wife Barb of Chesterfield; four grandchildren, Codie, Emily, Kylie, and Zak; great-grandchild, Jameson; In-laws, Sharon and Bill Kesslring; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4-8 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the St. Peter’s U.C.C. in Washington. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Peter’s U.C.C. or the American Heart Association.
