Dolores J. Wurdack

Dolores J. Wurdack, 89 , of Eureka, passed away on March 24, 2023. Mrs. Wurdack, daughter of the late Dennis Cox and Viola nee Hopmann, was born on October 18, 1933 in St. Louis. She received her education from Laboure High School in St. Louis. On June 23, 1956, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Wurdack at the Nativity Parish in St. Louis.

Dolores enjoyed lunches with her classmates, spending time with family, and sitting outside enjoying the sunshine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Cox and Kathleen Veidt and husband John; sister-in-law, Adele Draper, and brother-in-law, Roy Wurdack.

Among her survivors are her husband, Lloyd Wurdack of Eureka; five sons, Richard Wurdack and wife Karen, James Wurdack and wife Melissa, Donald Wurdack, John Wurdack and wife Karen, and Tom Wurdack and wife Terri; grandchildren, Kristen Wurdack, Matt Wurdack and wife Jen, Kaitlyn Finandrinos and husband Andrew, Michael Wurdack and wife Emma, Andrea Brinkman and husband Eric, Chris Mohrlock, Josh Mohrlock and wife Sydney, Michelle Fennessey and husband Tim, Abby Wurdack, Kaylie Wurdack, Emily Wurdack, Sydney Wurdack, Jessica Irwin and husband Blake, Dominic Zombo, and Garrett Zombo; great-grandchildren, Wesley Sheppard, Eddie Wurdack, Dylan Brinkman, Conner Brinkman, Eli Brinkman, Henry Mohrlock, Jaxon Mohrlock, Adele Mohrlock, and Hayley Fennessey.

Private family services will be held at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association. The date for the Celebration of Life mass is to be determined.
