Dolores R. Borgerding , 94 , of Marthasville, passed away October 3, 2021. Mrs. Borgerding, daughter of the late Louis Mayer and his wife Leona nee Feldmann, was born on June 17, 1927 in Dutzow. She received her education from St. Vincent’s School. On June 16, 1948, she was united in marriage to Cletus Borgerding at the St. Vincent’s Church in Dutzow.
Dolores enjoyed quilting, gardening, and traveling, but most of all taking care of her family. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Borgerding was a member of the St. Vincent’s Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cletus Borgerding and by her brother, Cletus Mayer.
Among her survivors are three daughters, Linda Hackmann and husband Michael of Marthasville, Barbara Hollenbeck and husband Michael of Fort Myers, FL, and Mary Fisher and husband Richard of St. Louis; sister, Victoria “Tookie” Westhoff of Washington; grandchildren, Adam Hackmann and wife Cindy, Heather Carson and husband Matthew, Megan Hackmann, Emily Wallace and husband Dakota, Amanda Schriewer and husband Derek, Nora Kazanecki and husband Ted, Erika Fertig and husband Mark, Laura Schemel and husband Michael, Brennan Hollenbeck and wife Melissa, Richie Fisher, and Cleo Zundel and husband Patrick; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marcella Meyer; other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10 A.M. at St. Vincent’s Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Vincent’s Church, School, or Masses.
