Dennis J. Noelker

Dennis J. Noelker, 85 , of Washington, passed away on March 19, 2023. Mr. Noelker, son of the late Walter Noelker and Evelyn nee Ludwig, was born on March 4, 1938 in Washington. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School. On September 29, 1962, he was united in marriage to Barbara Schulte at St. Francis Borgia Church.

Mr. Noelker loved to play the guitar, dance, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball games, and going to Branson to watch the shows. He also enjoyed volunteering his time at Cedarcrest Manor, playing pinochle and rummy with family and friends, listening to guitar music, and watching the Mecum and Barrett Jackson car auctions on TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Barbara Noelker and sister, Marilyn Noelker.

Among his survivors are three children, Steve Noelker of Washington, Jean Dawson of Union, and Lauri Crum of Gerald; siblings, Robert “Red” Noelker and wife Donna of Washington, Leon Noelker and wife Marcie of Washington, Jim Noelker and wife Jo of Neier, Judy Doll and husband Danny of Oklahoma, Cathy Pendleton and husband Dennis of Kansas, Jane Treacy of Washington, and MaryAnn Kandlbinder and husband Randy of Washington; grandchildren, Heather Noelker and husband Jared, Shannon Dawson, Taylor Dawson, David Dawson and wife Kasha, Scott Gist and wife Lauren, and Skylar Johnson and husband Jake; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Rhett, Hayden, Jayson, Macie, Ellie, and Ollie; loved ones and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at St. Francis Borgia Church, with interment in the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Francis Borgia Church.
