Debra A. Cady

Debra A. Cady, 66, of Eureka, passed away on May 15, 2020. Debra, daughter of the late James Fraher and his wife Rosella NEE Highland was born April 15, 1954 in Kankakee, IL. Debra was employed by the Ladue School District for many years until her retirement in 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Melvin Cady.

Among her survivors are three children, Leah Gruber and husband Kirk of Washington, Michelle Cady of Augusta, and Lucas Cady of Eureka; two siblings, Tom Fraher and wife Denise of Chebanse, IL and Mary Jane Harris of Wildwood; granddaughter, Olivia Gruber of Washington; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 1-3 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 3 P.M. Memorial donations can be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School in Washington.

*The visitation and funeral service will be open to the public. People that are attending will be asked to maintain a social distance of six feet. Seating may be limited, and people attending are welcome and encouraged to wear any type of protective face mask.
