Deborah Hinds Obituary

Deborah "Debbie" A. Hinds, 68, of Lake Sherwood was born on April 2, 1957, in Boston, MA and passed away on May 28, 2025. Her beloved late mother Vera Blasetti and father James Hamilton raised her in O'Fallon, Missouri. She received her education from Fort Zumwalt High School. On July 26, 1975, she was united in marriage to Franklin Hinds at Blanchette Park in St. Charles.

Debbie was a dedicated fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, a devotion that she passed on to her most beloved grandsons who could always count on watching a game at Grandma's house. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures - playing dominoes, sitting on the porch visiting with friends and family, playing cards, and reading a good book, but nothing compared to the happiness she found in being with her grandsons. Her warmth and laughter lit up every gathering, leaving behind memories that her loved ones will carry in their hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vera Hamilton, her biological father, Phil Heil, and two siblings, Brenda Waller and Dianne Schwentker.

Among her survivors are her husband, Frank Hinds of Lake Sherwood; father, Jim Hamilton of Englewood, FL; two children, Natalie Hinds of St. Louis and Felicia Hinds-Thapa and husband Bibodh of Chesterfield; two grandchildren, Everett and Arthur Thapa; siblings, Doug Hamilton and wife JoLynne of Bakersfield, CA, James Hamilton of Oceanside, CA, John Hamilton and wife Kendra of St. Charles, Phyllis Jeffers and husband Dave of Washington, and Kirk Heil and wife Sarah of Portland, MO; two brother-in-laws, Tom Waller and Wayne Schwentker; stepmother, Maryann Heil, and beloved family and friends.

On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, a wake will be held from 10:00-10:30 am and followed by a visitation from 10:30-12:30 pm at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery in Pinckney.
