David C. Anderson, 45, of Washington, passed away on February 17, 2026. David, son of the late Charles Anderson and Linda nee Zimmerman, was born on April 9, 1980 in Peoria, IL. He received his education from Washington High School, East Central College, and St. Louis Community College.
David loved being with his family and friends, and very much enjoyed theatrical production. He was employed by Production Support Services in St. Louis for many years. He also served as Technical Director for the Warwick Theater in Kansas City. He enjoyed volunteering at the Shakespeare Festival in St. Louis, as well as performing in college productions. He will be greatly missed by all for his loving devotion, and always being there for anyone who needed a helping hand.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Anderson; half-sister, Andrea Rymer; uncle, George Anderson and grandparents, Harold and Sarah Zimmerman, Ruth and John Martin, and Clifford Anderson.
Among his survivors are his mother, Linda Case and husband Jack Haskell of Washington; two brothers, Christopher Anderson of Washington and Charles “Chuck” Anderson of Washington; niece, McKenzie Rymer; nephew, Bradin Anderson; aunts and uncles, Kathleen Gritts, Gloria Elam and husband Carl, Mike Zimmerman, Dolores Hammerlund and husband Gil, and Roger Mooney and wife Betty; many cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. at Life Stream Church in Washington. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Life Stream Church. Interment will be in the St. John’s U.C.C. Cemetery in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to NAMI St. Louis.
