Christine E. Nevills

Christine E. Nevills, 63, of Union, passed away on April 26, 2024. Mrs. Nevills, daughter of the late Kenneth Phipps and Opal nee Shoemaker, was born on September 18, 1960, in Washington. She graduated from the Lutheran School of Nursing in St. Louis in 2008.

Christine loved cooking and sewing, making quilts for family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Phipps; husband, Gary Nevills; brother, Wayne Phipps, and grandson, William Eversmeyer.

Among her survivors are two children, Bonnie Eversmeyer of Union and Brian Nevills of Union; two step-children, Jennifer Nevills of Villa Ridge and Justin Nevills and wife Kristin of High Ridge; mother, Opal Phipps of Vilas, NC; siblings, Karen Johnson and husband Alvin of Vilas, NC, Dean Mantle and wife Kathy of Centralia, MO, and David Phipps and wife Jane of Wildwood; grandchildren, Brianna, Joey, Sarah, Parker and husband Tyson, Amy, Royce, Hannah, Heather, Marissa, and Dacie; great-grandchildren, Annabella, Sebastian, Lux, Carson, Elliot, Knox, and Adeline Wilder; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Faith Baptist Church in Washington, with a memorial service beginning at 11:30 a.m.
