Charlotte E. Yarbrough

Charlotte E. Yarbrough, 84, of Washington, passed away on June 3, 2023. Mrs. Yarbrough, daughter of the late Lloyd Rembusch and Doris nee Whitelock, was born on July 15, 1938, in Shelbyville, MO. She received her education from Monroe City High School. On June 26, 1957, she was united in marriage to Wayne Yarbrough in Hannibal, MO.

Mrs. Yarbrough loved to paint, especially oil painting. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, socializing with her friends, and spending time with her family. Charlotte was known as the Mayor of the Riverbend community, where she lived.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Yarbrough, and brother, Dwaine Rembusch.

Among her survivors are her children, Angelea Kleberger and husband David of Denver, CO, Dan Yarbrough and wife Donna of Kansas City, MO, and Lisa Jones and husband Doug of Washington; sister, Patsy Rothen of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren, Matt Kleberger, Conner Kleberger, Dylan Yarbrough, Dani Yarbrough, Christopher Tobben, and Sam Tobben; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 9-11 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Immediately following the interment, a reception will be held at the Hummingbird Club in Washington.
