Carole Sue Toler

Carole Sue Toler,83, of Washington, passed away on January 27, 2025. Mrs. Toler, daughter of the late Charles Herwig and Betty Milzark, was born on September 8, 1941 in St. Louis, she was united in marriage to James Toler Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Toler Sr. and daughter, Kimberli Schweppe.

Among her survivors her daughter, Mechelle Toler Ortmann and husband Timothy of Washington and one son, James; brother, George Herwig; five grandchildren, Chelsea Monticelli, CaroleAnne Elizabeth Ortmann, Maggie Ortmann, TJ Ortmann, and James Ortmann; two great-grandchildren, Maci and Owen.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Gildehaus Church. Memorial donations can be made to Friends of St Johns:
