Cara Lee Czeschin, 87, of Washington, passed away on September 25, 2024. Mrs. Czeschin, daughter of the late Roy White and Mildred nee Meek, was born on June 26, 1937, in Maysville, MO. She received her education from Maysville High School and Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. On November 24, 1961, she was united in marriage to Earl Czeschin at the Maysville Methodist Church.
Cara loved watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball games and following her grandchildren’s sporting events. She enjoyed playing bunco and card games with family and friends, reading, making and eating homemade chocolate ice cream, and spending time sitting on her screened in porches.
Mrs. Czeschin was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Czeschin; sister, Charlotte Carter, and in-laws, Phil Carter, Buford Vaughn, Ruth Terschluse, and Buxie Terschluse.
Among her survivors are three children, Laurie Gentilini and husband Steve of Lino Lakes, MN, Debra Kuchem and husband Tim of Dutzow, and David Czeschin and wife Wanda of Clover Bottom; sister, Noma Vaughn of Maysville, MO; brother-in-law, Paul Czeschin and wife Sylvia of Washington; grandchildren, Dan Gentilini and wife Elena of Peoria, IL, Lia Gentilini of Duluth, MN, Cara Bunkley and husband Cameron of Washington, Colleen Kuchem of Dutzow, Jack Czeschin and fiance Kara Voss, and LeighAnn Sullivan and husband Scott of Clover Bottom; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Mia, and Shay; loved ones and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Jennie Shaw Meek Memorial Scholarship Fund.
