Bryan Smith Obituary

Bryan S Smith, 70 , of Washington, passed away on December 18, 2022. Bryan son of the late Melvin Smith and Evelyn Smith, was born on February 3, 1952 in Washington MO. On October 20, 1979, he was united in marriage to Shirlee Junttii in Union. Bryan was employed for over 40 years at Pauwels Transformers.

Bryan loved any book or articles on WWII. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals as well as the football team Cardinals when they were in St. Louis. Bryan loved to read road maps; he also was a stickler on his audio equipment. Making sure that when he listened to his records and cd’s he made sure to have the best possible sound experience with them.  Most of all, he loved to talk to people about any subject. Most of all he loved his family and missed his wife Shirlee very much.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife Shirlee Smith; Parents Melvin and Evelyn Smith; sister Cheryl Smith; Stepson Cleadth E. Thompson and granddaughter Taylor Thompson.

Among his survivors; children, Dianna Stone and husband Jerry of Villa Ridge and David Smith of Washington; sibling; Lois Foster and husband Jim; grandchildren, Nichole, Amber, Ashley, Nathan, Madeline, Britney, and Dillon; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
