Bobby R. Mueller Sr.,95, of Washington, passed away on October 5, 2025. Mr. Mueller, son of the late Gus Mueller and Mary nee Loupe, was born on October 25, 1929, in Washington. On September 8, 1951, he was united in marriage to Junie Mae Luttrell in Piggott, Arkansas. Bobby served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Junie Mae Mueller; daughter, Margaret “Peggy” Klophaus; four siblings, Marvin Mueller, Donald Mueller, Lee Mueller, Betty Willis, and grandson, Michael Mueller.
Among his survivors are his children, Bobby R. Mueller Jr. and significant other Patti Rachel's of Washington, James Mueller of Washington, John Mueller and significant other Dawn Seamon of Leslie, and Mary Ann Simmons and husband Robert of Washington; brother, Charlie Mueller and wife Lori of Union; grandchildren, Krissie Hahne and husband Chris of Washington, Vanessa Alfermann and husband Ryan of Krakow, Cassie Simmons and significant other Robert Trogler of Jacksonville, FL, Chuck Simmons of St Louis, Billy Klophaus of Kentucky, and Andrew Klophaus of Las Vegas; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Reagan, Ethan, Jackson, Kylie, Kruze, Emeric, Addison, Kamden, and Kaiden; loved ones and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. Interment, with full military honors will be held at the St. Peter’s U.C.C. Cemetery in Washington. Memorial donations can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
