Barbara J. Walls

Barbara J. Walls, 92, of Washington, passed away on December 7, 2025. Mrs Walls, daughter of the late Millard Thacker and Zueline nee Dunnem, was born on August 6, 1933, in Kennett, MO. She received her education from Kennett High School. On July 16, 1955, she was united in marriage to Carroll Walls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carroll Walls and son, David Walls.

Among her survivors are two daughters, Cara Cragg of Independence, MO and Rebecca Baker and husband Mike of Washington; sister, Carole Poole and husband Jimmy of Natchez, MS; grandchildren, Joshua Franklin and wife Andrea, Jesse Franklin, Amanda Baker, Elizabeth Baker, Jacob Walls and wife Molly, and Zachary Walls; great-grandchildren, Brenna Franklin-Miller, Elijah Franklin, Magdelena Franklin, and Zelda Franklin; loved ones and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
