Barbara A. Kuenzel

Barbara Ann Kuenzel, 78, of Washington, passed away on December 11, 2022. Barbara, daughter of the late Arthur Maeser and Mary nee Stafford, was born on August 5, 1944, in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School.  On July 5, 1969, she was united in marriage to Delmar Kuenzel at Immaculate Conception Church in Union.

Mrs. Kuenzel enjoyed being with her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to cook for family gatherings, loved to sing in the choir at St. Francis Borgia, and was a huge Elvis fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Kenneth Maeser.

Among her survivors are her husband Delmar Kuenzel; children; Christine Massmann and husband Daniel of Krakow, Michael Kuenzel of Tennessee, Lanette Kuenzel of Washington, and Tim Kuenzel and significant other Amanda Thomas of Washington; grandchildren; Zackery Rowden, Jordan Massmann, Grace Massmann, Hunter Massmann, Calli Kuenzel, Natalie Kuenzel, Landon Kuenzel, and Lillian Kuenzel; In-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Church. Interment will be held at the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
