Ardell A. Hellmann

Ardell A. Hellmann, 69, of Labadie, passed away on January 11, 2024. Mr. Hellmann, son of the late Lawrence Hellmann and Clara nee Holtmeyer, was born on September 30, 1954 in Washington. He received his education from Washington High School.

Ardell loved working on his farm. He enjoyed pulling tractors at various tractor pulls, driving tractors in parades, restoring farm equipment, and spending time with his family. He was also very devoted to his Catholic faith and was a member of St. John’s Gildehaus Church.

Mr. Hellmann was preceded in death by his parents.

Among his survivors are his siblings, Karen Stone and husband Clint of Catawissa, Michael Hellmann and wife Sue of Villa Ridge, and Timothy Hellmann and wife Brenda of Krakow; special friend, Dorie Oberhaus of Labadie; niece, Amanda Hellmann; nephews, Andrew Hellmann, Michael Hellmann, Matthew Hellmann, Nathan Hellmann, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 9-10 a.m. at St. John’s Gildehaus Church with a Memorial Mass beginning at 10 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice.
