Anna I. Roetheli, 75, of Washington, passed away on June 22, 2023. Mrs. Roetheli, daughter of the late Hodgen Welker and Olinda nee Puester, was born on August 22, 1947 in Washington. She received her education from Augusta High School. On May 10, 1975, she was united in marriage to Ken Roetheli at St. Gertrude’s Church in Krakow.
Mrs. Roetheli was a Beautician but was also a loving babysitter for 25 plus years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to read and vacation with family and friends. Anna was a devoted volunteer at church and served on many committees at church and in the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leroy Welker and in-laws, Nancy Welker, Maxine Welker, and Don Giessman.
Among her survivors are her husband, Ken Roetheli of Washington; two children, Aimee Wessel and husband Dan of Augusta and Chris Roetheli and wife Abby of St. Louis; two siblings, Orville Welker of Montgomery City, MO and Mary Giessmann of Wentzville; grandchildren, Ella Wessel, Arlie Wessel, Bronwynn Roetheli, and Hodgen Roetheli; In-laws, Brenda Welker, Bob Roetheli and wife Sandy, Dennis Roetheli and wife Sherry, Eugene Roetheli Jr. and Virgil Roetheli; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 3-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at St. Gertrude’s Church in Krakow, with interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Gertrude’s Endowment Fund.
