Andrew (Andy) Raymond Struckhoff, was born in Washington, Missouri to parents Raymond and Hilda Struckhoff. Andy passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the age of 63.
Andy graduated from St. Francis Borgia High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force shortly after his graduation. During his enlistment, he continued his education at Southeast Missouri State University, studying fine arts. Upon graduation he continued his Air Force career with the Titan Missile Team for five years, during the time he spent with his team, he was stationed in various parts of the United States and Europe.
Andy was an avid reader, world traveler, artist, and chef. He loved the country life and taking care of any creature, great and small. To his family members and friends he was known as the “Story Teller.” He possessed a kind and generous spirit that knew no strangers. You could always find him volunteering his time, as he was an anchor to many charitable organizations.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Hilda, and one brother-in-law, David Brinker.
He is survived by three sisters, Kathy Hertlein and husband Marvin, Pat Wolking and husband Bill, and Ginny Brinker; nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.
He was an incredible man that will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A private service will be held for family members. A Celebration of Life will be planned for the near future.
