Michael Richardson

Michael Richardson, 65, of Washington, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. Michael was born on April 20, 1953, in Kennett, Missouri, son of David Adams and the late Ann (nee Smith) and the late Bill Richardson. On April 30, 2002, he was united in marriage to Beverly Kleekamp Withoelder in Cocoa Beach, Florida.  Mike had a passion for photography and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held July 7, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service.  Burial will be private.  Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Among his survivors are his wife Beverly; biological father David Adams and wife Neva of Arkansas; three children Michael Richardson and friend Becca, Sean Richardson and friend Brittany, all of Colorado, and Jennifer Straatmann and husband Mike of Labadie; three siblings Diane Shepard and husband Paul, Tim Richardson and wife Kathy, all of Gray Summit, and Alan Richardson and wife Cathy of California; siblings-in-law Carol Aholt and husband Tony of Dutzow, Keith Kleekamp of Washington, Debbie Hanneken of Washington and Tom Kleekamp and friend Linda of Berger; five grandchildren, Bridgett, Monica, Anthony, Peyton and Lexi, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Bill Richardson.
