Mary Jane (Weber) Huxel

Mary Jane Huxel ,80,of Washington, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Washington. She was born on December 15, 1937 in Washington to the late Edward and Ella (nee Maune) Weber. Mary Jane was united in marriage to Robert Huxel on May 13, 1961 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018, at 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, from 4-8 pm at Miller Funeral Home. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Robert Huxel of Washington; three children, Mark Huxel and wife Joan, Carl Huxel and wife Mary Beth, and Connie Waters and husband Tom, all of Washington; daughter-in-law, Teresa Huxel of Union; five siblings, Arlean Schmitt and husband Virgil of Washington, Melvin Weber and wife Doris of Washington, Bob Weber and wife Jan of O’Fallon, Richard Weber and wife Sandy of Ballwin, and Bernice Voss and husband Don of Union; sister-in-law, Loretta Weber of Washington; 12 grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Mrs. Huxel was preceded in death by her parents;  one son, Kenneth Huxel and brother, Leonard Weber.
