Lynn K. (Smith) Hardesty

Lynn K. Hardesty, 49, of Washington, passed away on August 21, 2019, in Washington. Mrs. Hardesty, daughter of the late Richard Smith and his wife Hiteko (nee Hanbusa) was born August 1, 1970, in Rockyford, Colorado. On September 10, 1994, Lynn was united in marriage to Chris Hardesty in San Diego, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law, Janice Hardesty.

Among her survivors are her husband, Chris Hardesty of Washington; three children, Christian Hardesty of Tampa, Florida, Kyra Hardesty of Washington, and Cory Hardesty of Washington; fathers-in-law, Fred Hardesty of Union, Curtis Gaddy of Litchfield, Illinois, and Greg Groesch of Union; mother-in-law, Mary Groesch of Union; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lisa Huie and husband Joel of Belleville, Illinois, Crystal Hanks and husband Brian of Ste. Genevieve, Isaac Gaddy of House Springs, Lynndel Zimmerman and husband Shanean of St. James, Chelle Coats and husband Rodney of Union, Carol Hardesty of Union, and Sydni Filla and husband Nick of Union; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 12-2 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a Memorial Service beginning at 2 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MS Society.
