John "Jack" M. Post

John “Jack” M. Post, 17, of Washington, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. He was born on August 14, 2001, to Bob and Gretchen (nee Hemann) Post in St. Louis.

A funeral Mass will be held on at 10 am on Monday, October 29, 2018, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Interment will be private. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, from 2 until 6 pm at Miller Funeral Home. Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or St. Francis Borgia Regional High School.

John is survived by his father, Robert “Bob” Post of Villa Ridge; his mother, Gretchen Sue Post of Washington; two siblings, Hannah Post of Columbia, Missouri and Jacob Post of Kirksville, Missouri; three grandparents, Marianne Schwane of Washington and William F. and Gwendolyn S. Hemann of Union; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Post MD and his step-grandfather, Richard Schwane.
