Jeanette Ann (Boland) Jasper

Jeanette Ann Boland Jasper, 81, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at her home in Washington.  Jeanette daughter of the late Orlando and Anna (nee Gumpenberger) Boland was born February 13, 1937, in Washington.  She received her education at St. Francis Borgia Grade School and St. Francis Borgia High School.  She was united in marriage to Arthur George Jasper on October 25, 1958, in St. Francis Borgia Church.  She worked ten years at St. Francis Hospital followed by Washington Tractor Company.  She loved animals and is survived by her little dog, Precious.

Jeanette was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Hummingbird Club and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 218 in Washington.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.  Interment will follow in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Miller Funeral Home.  Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Alzheimer’s Foundation or American Cancer Society.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Jasper; son, Dean Jasper and wife Deanna of Washington; grandchildren, Allyssa Jasper of St. Charles and Bradyn Jasper of Rhode Island; brothers-in-law, Donald Jasper and Robert Harris; sisters-in-law, Iola Allen Jasper and Laverne Jasper Harris, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Anthony, Albert and Norman Boland and parents-in-law, Frank and Josepha Bocklage Jasper.
