Harlan K. Kuddes

Harlan Karl Kuddes, 83, of Washington passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Washington.  Harlan was born August 27, 1934 in Prairie Home, Missouri, son of the late Karl Robert Kuddes and the late Rose A. (nee, Sagehorn) Kuddes. On July 16, 1960, he was united in marriage to Patricia Dalbey in Ottumwa, Iowa.  He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Washington.  Harlan had a special love for his entire family and was happiest when he was with his wife, children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home in Washington.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 until time of service at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery in New Haven.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran School or the American Heart Association.

Among his survivors are his wife, Patricia Kuddes, two children, Rick and wife Dena Kuddes of Washington and Tammy Kuddes of Washington; one brother, Karl R. Kuddes of Washington two grandchildren, Jaimie Kuddes and Cody Kuddes; sisters-in-law, Kathy Burrows and Judy Howk both of Ottumua, Iowa; one brother-in-law, Don Means and wife Norma of Washington, other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Donald Kuddes, Charles Kuddes, Barbara Means, Roland Ray Kuddes and Marjorie Steiger; two sisters-in-law, Dorotha Kuddes and Vernita Kuddes and two brothers-in-law, Craig Burrows and Irvin Steiger.
