Dolores Kubiak (nee McCorkle), 92, of Leslie, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019. Dolores was born on August 10, 1926, in St. Louis, to the late Claude and Emma (nee Ludwig) McCorkle. She was united in marriage to the late Conrad H. Kubiak on January 29, 1949, at the Notre Dame Church in Wellston, Missouri. Dolores was a bookkeeper, nature and pet lover, a novice writer, and enjoyed sewing. She was a fantastic mother to her family. Mrs. Kubiak was the Co-Founder of C.D.E. Inc in New Haven, MO.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Hudson on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at 12 pm. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. on March 6, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Conception Abbey, Missouri Conservation Department, or the Holy Family Church in Port Hudson.
Dolores is survived by seven children, Steve Kubiak and wife Barbara, Craig Kubiak, Daniel C. Kubiak and wife Linda K., Nancy and husband Tom Pierce, Vicky and husband Joseph Cahill, Judy and husband Dave Eckelkamp, and Emily and husband W. Todd Meyer; brother, Monsignor Louis W. McCorkle; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Conrad Kubiak; one granddaughter, Leah Kubiak and two brothers, Clifton “Murray” McCorkle and Floyd McCorkle.
