Diana Sue Triplett (nee Pflaum), 64, of Union, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri. She was born on February 13, 1954, to the late John C. and Betty (nee Robbins) Pflaum in Noble, Illinois and was united in marriage to Bret Triplett on September 21, 2001, in Union, Missouri. Diana loved animals, home decorating, and craft painting. She was a talented home cook whose home-made noodles couldn’t be beat. Diana was also a long-time member of the Washington Elks Lodge 1559, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2661 Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post 297 Auxiliary.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018, from noon until time of service at 3 pm at Miller Funeral Home, 1206 Jefferson St., Washington, Missouri. Interment will be private. Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
Diana is survived by her husband, Bret of Union; three children, Nikki Niese and husband Matt of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jeremy Triplett of Sullivan, Missouri, and Nicole Brower and husband Curtis of Bourbon, Missouri; four siblings, Randy Bourne and husband Darrell of Owens Crossroads, Alabama, Johnny Pflaum and wife Angie of Olney, Illinois, Dink Wyatt of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Virginia Ashley of Flora, Illinois; mother-in-law, Carol Triplett of Washington, Missouri; sister-in-law, Shelly Dietrich and husband Jeff of Mascoutah, Illinois; brother-in-law, Kyle Triplett and wife Toni of Washington; sister-in-law, Tina Meyer and husband David of Union; nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives; and many friends.
