Dee Ann Morgan

Dee Ann Pierce Morgan, age 78, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018, peacefully at her home in Washington.  She was born on February 24, 1940 to the late Basil and Pauline, nee Meredith, Stark in Eldon, Missouri.  On October 18, 1997 she was united in marriage to Leroy Morgan in the First Assembly of God Church in Washington.  Dee was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  For many years she was known at the “Avon Lady” in Washington, where she formed lasting friendships with many of her clients.

A visitation will be held from 4-8 pm, Friday, November 2, 2018 at Miller Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Life Stream Church in Washington.  Burial will be in Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union following the service.  Memorial donations may be made to the family of Dee Morgan, checks payable to Leroy Morgan, in care of Miller Funeral Home, 1206 Jefferson, Washington, MO  63090.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy Morgan, two children; Barry Baker of Washington and Victor Baker of Brunswick, Georgia; four step-children; Lisa and husband Daryl Strubberg of Washington, Janet Banderman and fiancée Dan Rogers of Warrenton, Stacy Morgan of Washington and Tina and husband Brian Ruether of Washington; two brothers, Mark Stark of Eldon and Ronald Stark of the state of California; five grandchildren, Alex Baker, Dustin Strubberg, Colton Banderman, Coty Ruether and Maxwell Ruether; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Keith Pierce and one grandson, Chad Strubberg.
