DeLores L. (Cherie) Seals

DeLores L. Seals (nee Cherie), 94, of Washington, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019. She was born on January 3, 1925, in St. Louis to the late Julius and Helen (nee Sass) Cherie and was united in marriage to the late Carl B. Seals on November 14, 1942, in St. Louis.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 10:30 am until time of service at 12:30 pm at Miller Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial donations are appreciated to Smile Train.

She is survived by two sons, Gary Seals of Portage Des Sioux, Missouri and Terry Seals and wife Nancee of St. Charles, Missouri; daughter-in-law, JoAnn; four grandchildren, Cynthia Shores and husband Larry of Arkansas, Christy Zierenberg and husband Richard of Dittmer, Troy Seals and wife Kaci of St. Peters, and Todd Seals of Pennsylvania; six great grandchildren, Brittany Schiermeyer and fiance Zack Sida, Taylor Zierenberg, and Emma, Luke, Ivan, and Eli Seals; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Helen Cherie; husband, Carl B. Seals; seven siblings, Lillian, Bruno, Eugene, Julius, Alma, Helen, and Theodore; and one grandchild, Reid Schiermeyer.
