Kyle and Erica Wolfe

Owners

Originally from the New Haven area, Kyle Wolfe and Erica (Monzyk) Wolfe set down their roots in Washington in 2003 and have embraced a deep commitment of service to the Washington and surrounding communities. They are enthusiastic members and volunteers with Our Lady of Lourdes parish and grade school, where two of their four children attend. Kyle is a member of the Washington Lion’s Club, enjoys coaching his children’s sporting teams, and Erica volunteers her time with Meals on Wheels. They are a loving family, and are teaching their children to appreciate the outdoors and be active by running, playing basketball and football, and white water rafting together.


David Dieckhaus

David is a lifelong resident of Washington, Missouri. He is married to Christine (nee Wiedemann), they have four children and eight grandchildren. David loves to be part of the community by participating in several civic organizations both local and national. He is a past Potentate of Moolah Shrine in St. Louis, board member of Shriner’s Hospitals for Children in St. Louis, board member of Exceptional Equestrians, a member of the Masonic Lodge 251 in Washington, and a proud CASA volunteer. David loves spending quiet time riding his horse and enjoying family time.


George Emke

George Emke

Greeter and Funeral Assistant

George lives in Washington and is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic parish.  He has two daughters and four grandchildren.  He is a Vietnam Veteran, and is a member, past Commander, and current Chaplain of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2661.  He retired from the United States Postal Service after a forty-six year career in Washington as a letter carrier.  He is also a member of American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, and a past board member of the Washington Area Ambulance District.


Larry Frick

Greeter and Funeral Assistant

Larry and his wife, Carol, live in Washington and are members of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. They have two sons and are blessed with two loving granddaughters. Larry Graduated from Washington University. He is a Vietnam Veteran and has held numerous positions in VFW Post 2661. He has been a member of and has served as an officer in various organizations in Washington. Larry is currently serving as a Board of Director for the Washington Area Ambulance District. He enjoys being with family and friends, reading and spending time outdoors.


Ken Schlitt

Greeter and Funeral Assistant

Ken is a lifetime resident of Krakow; he and his wife, Patricia, raised three children and enjoy spending time with their five grandchildren.  He is also a lifelong parishioner at St. Gertrude Catholic Church and has served on numerous Church committees over the past fifty years.  He is a member and past president of Rotary, volunteered and worked for the American Red Cross for thirty years, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.


John Vietmeier

John and his wife Debbie (nee Weeks) Vietmeier have called Washington home for 27 years. They have three grown children and two grandchildren.  John and Debbie are members of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Parish where John is active in Parish ministries.  John enjoys membership and volunteering in with many different organizations in and around Washington He serves on the boards of the Historic Washington Foundation, Downtown Washington, Inc., The City of Washington Board of Public Works, and the Arts Council of Washington.  He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Washington, Rotary International, and a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Nick, born in Florissant, MO, has been a resident of Franklin County since 1998. A proud husband, father, and grandfather, Nick and his wife Cindy are active in several local charities and medical affiliations. Nick enjoys spending time with his family traveling and outdoor activities. 


Curt Holzem

Curt, originally born and raised in Washington, now calls Labadie home where he lives with his son Drew. He graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia and is a third-generation agent who has carried on the family business for close to 30 years. He is a parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes, a member of the Washington Rotary club, board member for the Harmony House, and has made numerous trips to Honduras with the Washington Overseas Mission. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping and anything outdoors with his son. 


Craig Monzyk

Craig Monzyk

Greeter and Funeral Assistant

Craig worked as an Operating Engineer, Local 513, for 30 years. He is retired, and resides in New Haven. He and his wife, Jill, a retired school teacher, raised their family there and continue to enjoy all the blessings of living in a small town. They have 10 amazing grandchildren, and are their biggest fans when it comes to sporting events and other activities. Ebenezer Lutheran Church is their home parish, and they enjoy helping with church dinners, youth activities, and Vacation Bible School. Craig is an avid outdoorsman who plants wildlife crops, maintains wetland
habitats, and hunts deer and turkey. After working hard in their careers for many years, Craig and Jill now make time to relax, appreciating the beauty of God's creation by hiking, fishing, and camping at Missouri's magnificent state parks.

Mike Konys

Mike is a lifelong resident of Washington. Graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Francis High School. He is Married to Darlene (nee Jasper), they have three children and five grandchildren. He is a life long member of the Knights of Columbus and a forty-five year EMT of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
